When my daughter hit the ripe old age of 8,
I found myself unexpectedly flying solo. Single, independent, and miles away from the comfort of family, it was just me and my mini-me against the world.
Did I panic? Maybe a little. But mostly, I embraced it with open arms, a heavy sprinkle of faith, and a whole lot of silliness. Together, we journeyed through the tween years armed with hope, dreams, and a ton of laughter – because let's face it, laughter makes even the toughest moments a little easier to bear.
Fast forward to today, and my daughter is 16 going on 30 (or so she likes to think). And me? Well, I'm here to share the wisdom, the trials, and the triumphs of my single-parent journey so far.
